Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas, also referred to as Ashanti was born on 13 October on the 13th of October, 1980 at Glen Cove New York United States. She is a singer songwriter and actor who hails from in the United States. The talent of Ashanti was discovered in her teens. The singer signed with Murder Inc. Records, in 2002. That same year, she was featured as a guest on the Fat Joe's What's Luv? Ja Rule's song, Always On Time and Fat Joe's What's Luv? In the case of Foolish and What's Luv as the top two songs She became the first woman to have two songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart top Ten in the United States. The song What's Luv! The Declaration the fourth studio album, was launched on June 3, 2008. Hey Baby (After The Club) came out on radio stations and digital platforms on 16 October. She appeared in The Christmas in the City film and played Latasha in Army Wives. Her track Rock wit U was sampled by British rapper Aitch for his song Baby on the 10th of March 2022.
